The KOKO Club

The KOKO Club is the Brighton and Hove home for Too Darn Soulful. Presenting regular club events featuring the best soul, funk, rare grooves, rhythm & blues and great dance music from right across the spectrum.

Too Darn Soulful has established itself as one of the leading operators of 'Northern Soul' events along the South Coast and across Sussex using a whole range of event spaces including the Spiegeltent  at the Brighton Festival. 

The KOKO Club is an intimate and atmospheric venue which is establishing its own identity in the unimaginably vibrant scene in Sussex and the South Coast.

Friday 28th August 2026 - Northern Soul Heaven

The first night of the Brighton Rhythm & Soul Weekend kicks off with classics, anthems & floorshakers from the greatest of all underground dance scenes.

7.30pm - Midnight 

Sunday 30th August 2026 - Too Darn Soulful's Monster Northern Soul Alldayer

The traditional finale to the Brighton Rhythm & Soul Weekend.

3pm - Midnight

Saturday 19th December 2026 - The Soul Survivors Famous Soul & Motown Christmas Party

Two fantastic soul sessions for just one price. The best of classic soul, motown & disco next door at the Leonardo Royal Brighton Waterfront Hotel and its Northern Soul here at the KOKO Club.
