A Brighton Wedding Venue With History

The Queens Hotel in Brightonis a Regency building of historic interest. It occupies the former site of ‘the most remarkable bathing establishment of all’ – Mohamed’s Vapour Baths! These opened in 1786 and catered for the fashionable set that spent their time in the highly scented steam baths! Sadly The bathing establishment was later demolished and replaced in the late 1870’s by Markwell’s seaside hotel. Its neighbour built in 1846, was the Queens Hotel, finally The Queens Hotel absorbed Markwell’s Hotel in 1908, making the building you see today. 

So in addition to being the perfect wedding venue in Brighton it is also a wedding venue that offers real historic interest.
